About WanderWise

WanderWise is a free visa requirements checker designed for travelers with multiple passports and residence permits. Unlike other visa tools that only check one passport at a time, WanderWise evaluates all your travel documents and recommends the best one for each destination.

Who Runs This

WanderWise is built and maintained by Durga Prasad, a software engineer based in Dubai. It's part of TechTools365, a small portfolio of free, no-signup tools covering finance, travel, and SaaS.

Data Sources

• Passport visa matrix: the open-source Passport Index Dataset as a starting point — a community-maintained baseline we treat as Tier 3 (unverified).
• Residence permit exemptions: hand-compiled from official government immigration websites. Every entry has a source link to the issuing embassy / ministry / e-visa portal page (Tier 1 — high confidence).
• High-traffic passport-destination pairs: automatically re-verified against gov-source URLs (Tier 2 — medium confidence). The pipeline runs hourly and re-checks any entry older than 30 days.

Each entry on the site carries a confidence badge so you know which tier the data came from. See the methodology page for the full framework.
